BioI can generally be found meandering around LiveJournal, clicking through people's journals and butting into conversations. If you're here because I provided random information you didn't ask for, welcome! More randomness abounds around here. You get used to it. There's very little in my posts that's not suitable for all ages, but there might be in comments, just so you know.
I'm a librarian by profession, a writer by inclination and a procrastinator by habit. I am forgetful, enthusiastic, easily amused, easily confused, pedantic, thoughtful and silly. I love to talk, and I am wont to post six or seven times in a day if the mood takes me, so consider yourselves warned. Recurring themes around here include frustration at the general library incompetence of undergraduates and the current state of my desk, as well as some recs and random information about my life. That last one can get very random, and I try to keep this journal a drama-free zone as much as possible.
You're more than welcome to friend me, no need to ask as it's your friends list. I have trouble getting through my reading list as it is, but I love meeting new people anyway. Do drop me a comment on any post if you want me to friend back, otherwise hi there and enjoy your stay. I tend to take my time friending back, reading journals, exchanging comments, sharing coffee and biscuits and getting to know you a bit first.
One day I will do something exciting and tell the world. I may need a change in career first, though.
